English Teacher- Nova 2013 – 2016

Some of my duties include teaching Business and Travel English, Grammar, Vocabulary and listening, Test preparation (TOEIC) to salarymen and women, students, housewives, the retired and children.

Watermark hotel – Nagasaki 2012 – 2013

Some of my duties included serving guests, assisting them to their rooms with luggage, check in and check out procedures using databases, cash management and credit card procedures. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner to the guests in the hotel restaurant, providing directions and information on local tourist spots and administration.

Central Sussex College 2004-2006

I studied for a BTEC National Diploma in Media Production where I passed with the highest grade possible which is a distinction. I studied various things such as Film studies, Journalism and Radio techniques such as how to produce a magazine or a radio show. Also how to make Documentaries, TV Shows and Movies from planning to filming and editing.

The Holy Trinity Secondary School 2001-2004

Notable Achievements

Certificate in Tour Management.

I am qualified to lead and manage tour groups of up to 40 people for travel purposes.

Food and Safety certificate in Food preparation.

I am qualified to prepare food in a safe and timely manner.

Volunteer at Woodhall care home for people with learning difficulties.

My duties included assisting care staff with daily tasks such as getting dressed, eating and going out on organised day trips.

Volunteer at Footloose, a dance group for people with learning difficulties.

Mostly the volunteers would work by themselves encouraging students to create dances and perform in front of audiences.

Training in Japanese Customer Hospitality.

This is training I received at the Watermark Hotel Nagasaki in how to greet guests appropriately in Japanese. This included polite ways of using Japanese to greet the customer and answer any questions. The appropriate bowing for different situations and hand gestures which should be used.

I was nominated by a co-worker for this award at the Watermark Hotel Nagasaki.
